This shows that he has character, integrity, honesty and a good backbone. This is something that a police officer is suppose to have. We call this being a man. There should be more like him. DR should be applauded as he is one of the finest we have on the force. He is not afraid to speak his mind and is not led around like a puppet like so many others. The town should have a doctor who the officer must report to each day they are sick and stop the overtime madness. unlimited sick time actually means unlimited vacation.
