Guest Kearny Resident
I wonder has anyone else besides me noticed the North Arlington Police parking on either Kearny Ave, Pleasant Place, Morgan Place and Rutherford Place in the mornings between 6 am and 8 am. It seems they pick a different street to hide on but there are the police cars there with North Arlington police sitting in them, looking for people to give tickets too. I am glad I do not have anything to worry about, but it does seem strange the North Arlington has to come into Kearny for their quotas. Has anyone else noticed this? Moreover this past week I saw a Kearny police car go right past the North Arlington Police car parked in front of Virgil’s and just turn and keep going. I know a lot of friends who have gotten bogus speeding tickets along Schuyler Ave by the Bowl-A-Drome, so I ignore that route as much as possible when I do have to drive north from Kearny. N.A. police do not have any legal jurisdiction in Kearny unless they are in hot pursuit of an incident originating in N.A.I guess they are hideing and not doing their job,so call the N.A. Chief if you are so concerned, chicken little.

NAPD Officers are NJ STATE Cretified LEO's, and have the power and authority to enforce Title 2C and Title 39 Violations anywhere in the state, as does any other Certified LEO. That said, Most do not because it is somewhat of a hassle, since the summons would have to be issued from the Municipal Court where the offense took place... Since the Kearny Municipal Court, does not permit out-of-town Officers to write sumomonses on KPD-issied books, the NAPD Officer would have to take down the offending driver's information, go to the Kearny Municipal Court, and issue the summons from there to be mailed. More Likely he was able to find a better parking spot there to observe traffic, and look for moving violations.

I hear the treasury not only wants their money back but they want to know how this corporation was able to continue their con game even after they lost in court and they claimed to the judge they had no money to pay the claim

I mistook you for another unregistered user, and I acknowledged that (it's certainly more than Paszkiewicz has done in his own situation). Further back, interesting how there were zero apologies for the several lies invented about Matthew and his family. And even further back, interesting how there's been no apology from Paszkiewicz himself for his anti-science lies told to his students. I made a simple mistake, and I apologize. Now how about you and the other people dogging me demand apologies from people who REALLY ought to be apologizing, huh?

It was along Devon Street where I was again turning just after the first car and then the NA Police car went from NA crossing the Belleville Turnpike and into Kearny. There were no police lights on followed the car, a girl driver but thats all I could make out, up to Styvastant across to Laurel back down Stewart. The girl driver stopped at each stop sign as did I. The Police car waited til the car went about 50 yards then speed across the intersection to catch up. If there was something going on shouldn't the police car have pulled them over earlier? This went on about 8 blocks before I lost nerve and stopped following. Next time I am going to get the car number. I didn't think of it at the time. Since I live close to the Pike I have seen alot of this going on recently. Still no explaination why?
Guest Guest
I once was heading east up the Bellevile turnpike and made a right on red when I shouldn't of. A NA cop issued me a ticket. I was never in NA, I was on the kearny side of the pike and turned into Kearny. I questioned the Kearny police desk sargent and he said it is a "mutual patroll area". Check Ridge Road someday or the parking lot behind the West corner of Ridge and Belleville Turnpike. Chances are you will find an NA police officer parked there. I hear that the NAPD is now teamed up with the CIA, the FBI, and the MIB using hi-tech equipment in a plot to monitor which times Kearny residents set their alarm clocks to in the morning. Isn't this an intrusion of privacy? You should call the Kearny desk sergeant and ask if this is legal. Also, the other day I was driving up the Belleville Pike and I passed a North Arlington police officer and he looked at me. I mean he looked right at me. I wasn't going over the speed limit or running red lights or anything and this guy glanced right over at me. Next time, I'm going to look right back at him AND make eye contact. I may even get his car number so I can report this intrusive behavior. It doesn't stop there either. I recently saw a Bergen County Health Department vehicle traveling in Kearny. What were they doing there? Were they trying to enforce the Bergen County health code on Hudson County residents. Maybe they were looking for pooper-scooper violators outside of their geographical boundaries. They have no right! I yelled out, "Why have you left your geographical boundaries!" but they did not reply. To this day, I still have no answers. Finally, yesterday, I saw a McDonald's tractor trailer in Kearny. Benign - I think not! There is no McDonald's restaurant in Kearny. They must have been using OUR roads to travel to a McDonald's in another town! I called Kearny Burger King to demand an explanation and can you believe they told me that they have no control over where McDonald's trucks drive.
