The Mayor is beating the drum that the increase in our taxes is due to the rise in insurance, garbage pick up and pension costs. But the real problem is the Board of Education, it's out of control. You want lower taxes start looking at the Boards spending list. Why is the tranfer of information from one person to another so costly? The real scam is the Board of Ed and all the pork surrounding the core. We need to take a long hard look at this problem and then we might get lower taxes. (Question) how many dpw workers retire and collect a wopping 60,000.00 a year? answer none. Teachers do after twenty five years in the system.
