But face it, 19 Captains and 2 Battallion Chiefs is 19 Captains more and 2 Batallllion Chiefs more than we need. There is rarely a fire in Harrison and everyone that I have seen that was bigger than blowing out a match was put out with other towns fire departments taking the lead control and directing Harrisons' guys because they do not know how to fight a fire. It is just throwing away tax money, period. The service is just not needed. And about the drugs, the last one of the two groups was a cop but the ratio is like 8 to 1 in favor of the fireman. The cop got fired. The drug arrested fireman were given a disability pension and full medical benefits for life which I think should be voted on and taken away if possible. That is a poor role model for the children. It basically says if you do drugs you can get a tax free monthly allowance for life and benefits. That is a true disgrace.
