Strife767
What in the world are you talking about ?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol, you tell us, Mr. "History Major." Or was the forced conversion of cultures of so-called (by the Christians, mind you) "savages" not a part of history you studied?
Guest Guest
pssh.......someone mentioned that Christians created the "new world" and atheists created communism. Well let me tell you that I am agnostic and not in favor of either religion. However I must say that Christianity had it's share of wrong doing. I mean....... Salem Witch Trials and Spanish Inquisition. Wow........I'd be proud.
Guest qetzal
When it comes to atheism and Christianity and their effects on society, lets judge them by their fruits:Christianity produced western civilization as we know it with the USA at its apex. Atheism produced such great examples of human achievement as the USSR, Red China, and North Korea. You decide which has been more beneficial. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is exactly what I can't stand about some religious people. This attitude of 'Christianity is the best, and US Christians are the best of the best. We're always right, you're always wrong. God loves us the most, we're better than you, nyah nyah nyah!' Given how much Jesus supposedly preached love, humility, and tolerance, it's truly stunning how superior and intolerant some Christians can be. P.S. I know this attitude is not reflective of most Christians. To all you Christians (and other believers) out there who really do try to practice humility and tolerance, thank you!
