Guest Tom Ram
Which one is the biggest idiot? Cast your vote! The New York Times, February 1, 2007 , reports: ". . . Matthew said that Mr. Paszkiewicz recently told the class that scientists who spoke about the danger of global warming were using tactics like those Hitler used, by repeating a lie often enough that people come to believe it. Mr. Lindenfelser said that the district did not investigate the report of that comment, which he said was not religious or a violation of “any kind of law." So let me get this straight. In open class with Matthew LaClair sitting right in front of him, undoubtedly watching him like a hawk, Paszkiewicz, who has already made an international fool out of himself, compares the world's scientists to Adolf Hitler and his propaganda gang. What is it with this guy and science and Hitler? If Paszkiewicz can't control himself with Matthew LaClair watching him, what will he do next year, having gotten away with this? Then Lindenfelser says that the comparison between the world's scientists and Hitler is of no concern. Telling students that there's nothing wrong with sex between a man and a boy isn't illegal either. Would Lindenfelser says that's OK too? Or is the Kearny school board the biggest collection of idiots on the planet? How much more trouble will they let this teacher and lawyer get them into? Has it never occurred to them that the lawyer is giving them bad advice and the teacher is hopelessly wacky? Cast your vote for the biggest moron. The winner will be announced at the next Kearny BoE meeting. The Board will also be holding a raffle. The winner of the raffle will receive a plastic Barney-the-dinosaur in a rowboat. Don't you folks ever get tired of being laughed at?

That is a hilariously clever prize. XD Don't you folks ever get tired of being laughed at? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Apparently not. *shakes head in disbelief* Paszkiewicz is racking stupid statements up at an alarming rate. How about if you do things as you always have done when it comes to the registered posters, but just don't allow flames like the above from the anonymous ones? This is just spam, now, seriously. Guest Curious
Legally, what can the Board of Education do? Has anyone looked into the rights of a tenured teacher? Does the BOE have a documented process that must be followed? Is there a process that needs to be followed similar to corporate America where in most cases an employee's issue must be documented extensively prior to removal from the company? In many situations the Human Resources department cannot say anything about the situation even after an employee has been let go, nor can they talk to the general public about what actions were taken to address the issue. People feel the Board has not reacted appropriately to the situation, but does anyone know what their documented process is?
