Guest Guest Posted March 12, 2021 Report Share Posted March 12, 2021 Mayor Santos just got a pay raise as the Clerk of the Hudson County Freeloaders. 2.5% in the middle of a pandemic when people are unemployed, underemployed and struggling to pay their rent and their property taxes. More money for the County. How can the Freeloaders and Santos vote themselves pay raises unanimously while the rest of us continue to struggle. What do these Freeloaders do? Guest Guest Posted March 19, 2021 Report Share Posted March 19, 2021 Mayor Santos sold out a long time ago when he was given the Clerk to the Freeloaders in Hudson County. He cannot go against the County because he has a conflict, he doesn't want to lose his nice 100K job. He is a constitutional lawyer. What the f**k is that? What he really is, is a lawyer that never practiced law or stepped into a courtroom. He has raised Kearny's taxes year after year for over 20 years while services have been cut at DPW. Where is the money going? Mayor Santos is the guy who over the objection of then Councilman Mangin opened up the Keegan Landfill because he wanted a golf course and a recreation for the town. He bought the lies and promises of Sports Authority NJSEA and then the Town Lawyer did not put those into the Contract to Reopen and Kearny taxpayers got fu**ked. Instead of suing the lawyer for malpractice, he hired the lawyer to appeal making more money for that law firm. They lost and Sports Authority took over and collected all the tipping fees 17 million+ a year. No taxes if the town collected it. If you were going to reopen, you should have operated it yourself like Sports Authority did. The Friends (because Mayor Santos has no real family) so no Friends and Family are continuing to accumulate salaries while home from Covid lockdown and accumulating their pension funds so they can retire and go down the shore or further South laughing all the way. The Friends will also abandon ship if he loses immediately switching to where the power is. Mayor Santos was challenged on residency when he first ran. He single handely had wrestled the town from the evil gases that he started when he did not listen to Councilman Mangin who predicted what transpired. If it wasn't for his bull horn, and this upcoming election fear of losing, we would still be breathing the overwhelming toxic air. Now we only get it on occasion. Mayor Santos can now rest assured that if he loses the election he can put on his resume closure of the toxic dump I started because I did not listen to good advise and went with I'm a constitutional scholar and know it all.
