Guest ERT
The HPD had a SWAT Team from 98 to 2004. When the new Chief was appointed, he refused to give them comp time for training. The Team was disbanded, and their training, equipment and expertise was wasted. Do you think that they should be reinstated? We have a 25,000 seat Soccer stadium that we hope that it will never need this type of police action, but it would be necessary if a terroristic attack occurred. Guest Me.
It makes sense to have a Emergency response Team that can respond to the Red Bull Stadium or the Harrison Schools. If they don't have enough manpower, they should partner with the KPD who has an active team.
