Guest 2smart4u
The Lame Stream media is all over the lion murder but strangely mum on the murder and dissecting of babies at Planned Slaughter. How democratic of them.
Guest Guest
I presume you're including Fox in this. They're all corporate owned, so they broadcast what sells. The problem is less with the media than with how media are structured (corporate owned and therefore profit oriented), and what people demand. And of course, you omit the slaughter of bona fide human beings that is taking place in many places around the world. Starvation in Sudan and other places like that, which don't matter to most Americans. So in the end . . . . . . the real problem is idiots like you. How democratic of them. Seeing the horrific video of a dissected baby and the discussion about what body parts could be sold took me back to HS Biology class dissecting frogs and how disgusted I was then. Guest neonatal nurse
Those "babies" were not sentient beings. That lion was. Those "babies" were not sentient beings. That lion was. That's not true. Tests have shown that unborn babies can feel sensations/pain as early as 8 to 10 weeks.
Guest Guest
That's not true. Tests have shown that unborn babies can feel sensations/pain as early as 8 to 10 weeks. It is true. The lion had more conscious awareness than an 8-10 week old fetus. It would be helpful if you had provided a link to these claimed "tests." Anyone can make a claim like that, both here and in papers that have a thin veneer of science. That doesn't make them solid science. It's entirely possible that the fetus begins to "feel" sensation at around 8 to 10 weeks. That does not necessarily make it a sentient being. There also has to be a level of awareness, which is not likely to be present that early. Consciousness is a gradually emerging property. It would be convenient if there was a clear dividing line telling us when meaningful consciousness emerges in the fetus; only there isn't. It's an extremely difficult question, and coming up with answers necessarily requires people to make value judgments. The answers will not be cut-and-dried, for the simple reason that the reality of consciousness is not as cut-and-dried as we would like to think it is. That's not the answer extremists would like to hear but it is the truth.
