While zerO is out playing golf today, our Marine is still in a Mexican prison. If zerO had a pair this Marine would be home already. If zerO had a pair he would have sent Kerry to Mexico and told him not to come home without him. So sad that we have an empty suit pretending to be the CIC. Now you know why Putin just laughs at zerO.

I watched the speech Obama gave to the West Point graduates while shaking my head in disgust. Not a mention of the Marine in a Mexican prison or our murdered hero's in Benghazi, just the usual nonsensical spinning.

Then you weren't listening. The president made a very reasonable and intelligent statement warning against returning to the neo-con policies that brought us the disastrous misadventure in Iraq.

As for the topic du jour, the usual nonsensical spinning right is happening right here.

The NY Slimes is on my side. The Slimes article on the speech denegrated zerO and the speech. When the Slimes knocks zerO you know it's bad.

The Marine was interviewed by a news reporter today. The Marine said he was beaten by jail guards and chained to his bed.

Still no comment from zerO. One phone call to the Mexican President and this Marine would be on his way home. What a

pathetic excuse for a CIC.

Another day has gone by with the Marine chained to his bed in Mexico. I'm just disgusted that Obama has allowed this to go on this long. We give millions in aid to Mexico every year. I'm sure one phone call to the Mexican president threatening to cut off all financial aid would get this Marine released immediately. Obama gave speeches over Memorial Day praising our military while he allows this to drag on for over a month. I'm afraid for our country to have a man as president that's unable to act on such a clear injustice.

1. He's a FORMER Marine.

2. He drove into a foreign country with three guns in his car. Says he didn't know he was crossing into a foreign country. The Mexican border is not like a toll booth, it's pretty clear you're about to leave the US

3. Arizona congressman met with this kid and said he's doing fine.

4. He'd be in jail in the US if he tried going through airport security because he didn't know he was in the wrong line.

5. Maybe he's not smart enough to own guns.

Mexicans have as much right to enforce their laws as we have to enforce ours. There's a difference between patriotic and stupid. For some people, anyway.

This is another non-story ginned up by the radical right, so that they can have a daily propaganda fix against Obama. If The New York Times mentioned this story, they didn't mention Tahmooressi's name. I'd ask "Patriot" to post a link but he doesn't have the brains to do it. This is a guy who went to Mexico and broke Mexican law. That doesn't mean we shouldn't be horrified by the Mexican prison system (too bad the right wing isn't as horrified by our prison system) but it doesn't mean it's President Obama's fault either, or that this story merits the President's attention. Just because Tahmooressi is an ex-marine doesn't mean he doesn't have to follow the laws of any country where he goes. Too bad these right wingers don't have the same concern for ex-soldiers when it comes to funding the VA. There's another propaganda job.

The right wing in this country has gone completely crazy. They'll do and say anything, whether it makes any sense or not, whether it's true or not. Usually, it doesn't, and it isn't. This "case" is no exception.

The bigger question is how could a marine, who has had land navigation training get lost to the point he ends up in another country.

You do realize he "drove" into Mexico, at a manned border crossing with "Welcome to Mexico" signs and not illegally through the desert.

Sheesh.

I'm still trying to figure out what you're proud of, you obviously have no love for our military. It must be the socialist mutt that you love.

I spent 22 years in the Army and National Guard, served (like You) in Vietnam, so I don't consider that as not loving my Country. How much time did you spend in the Marines. Why do I call myself A Proud American. Because we can express ourselves on Forums like this without fear of reprisal.

Let me pose this question to you. Suppose the situation were reversed and it was an ex-Mexican soldier that entered this country. What would your opinion be then. You and your alter-ego 2smart would be calling for him to be jailed like you want all illegals treated.

I do like the President. He's spent the last 5 years attempting to clean up the mess that Junior left us in. Unfortunately, he is stuck with a do nothing Congress who would rather make him look bad than deal with the real problems.

I respect your service but you need to get your head out of your butt. The zerO administration is imploding. There are people on both sides saying zerO is the worst president in american history. His corruption and incompetence is staggering. People are pouring across the southern border while zerO is golfing in Palm Springs and our Marine sits in a Mexican prison. We're heading for another war in the mid-east, the IRS has become a bad joke, the VA is corrupt, etc. etc.

And all you can say is you like the president and Bush did it. I don't know what you did in the army but thinking wasn't a big part of it.

That is a ridiculous fairy tale. The country is at peace. As for the economy, Bush did do it, it's a fact. It took us more than a decade to recover from the Great Depression, and the economy is bigger and more complex today - and Obama gets no help at all from the Republicans. Notwithstanding all of that, the stock market is at a record high, the deficit has been cut in half and unemployment is in the 6s. You righties will make up any lie because you still can't stand the fact that Obama was elected - twice.

And you're still lying about the EX-marine who was arrested in Mexico as a civilian because he broke Mexican law. It's not worthy of an international incident but Fox needed a story that day, so here we are.
