That's the number of people projected to quit work and live off zerOcare. And of course food stamps and rent allowance. This is zerO's vision of a nanny state, all the democrats feeding at the government tit, while the Republicans carry the load. And if the Ice Queen gets elected, count on her to try to expand the nanny state. Is it any wonder that America is falling behind in so many areas ? zerO does not exactly encourage and promote self reliance and self determination.

It really pisses you off that the cool black dude got elected, doesn't it.

As usual, the right wing scumbags are lying. The CBO report does not say that workers will lose their jobs because of the ACA. This is a complete distortion, nothing less than a lie. The report says that because people will no longer need to be employed full-time to have health coverage, some people will choose to work part-time. You can read the exact language from the CBO report on the first page of this link. Look at the last paragraph on the page. It says that the reduction in hours worked will be as a result of personal choice, not reduced demand for labor, a/k/a unemployment.

This is good for the economy and for the American people because it means that more people will be able to spend time taking care of their families instead of trying desperately to make ends meet. In turn, that will loosen the labor market, making it easier for people who really need work to get it. That is what the 2.5-million-people estimate is about.

I can’t STAND these lying scumbags on the right wing. Fox, Limbaugh, Hannity – all they do is lie. And all the right wingers in Congress are saying the same thing, knowing damned well it isn’t true. This has gotten to the point that the old joke is actually true: you can tell when a right winger is lying because his lips are moving. It’s disgusting. We should throw these right wingers out on their ears come November.

This is just too funny. I don't know anyone who ever decided to give up their full time job because they didn't need the money. This is such a ridiculous

spin by zerO and his minions, and yet the clown "Guest" who I'm responding to swallows it hook, line and sinker .Unless he's living in his momma's basement, eating her food and swiging Kool-Aid, he doesn't really believe it either.

You started a thread based on what Fox told you the CBO report said. It is just a few threads down from this one. Now that it has been pointed out that Fox was totally distorting what the report actually says, you accuse the very people you were attacking Obama with as being Obama's lapdogs! Pretty obvious who actually drinks the Kool-Aid, isn't it?

You keep saying that people do that all the time. Remember, the welfare queens who sit out on their front stoops instead of looking for work. Remember them? You babble on about them all the time. Now all of a sudden they don't exist any more.

Of course, the truth is more complicated than that. Truth is, some people wouldn't work full-time if they didn't have to. Some people would retire from their full-time job if they could. It's all true but it doesn't support your fairy tale, so now suddenly this CBO study isn't true any more, according to you. But that's exactly what the study says, and until you found that out, you were all for it. The amazing thing is, you actually seem to have read the post, for once.

Ummm . . . I think you have it backwards. Spin is what you do when you don't have the facts on your side. You know, like you do.

Truth is what you tell when you do have the facts. As in post #7.

Cheer up, though. Maybe someday, somebody will spin a story that you're smart.
