This type of person is never wrong and when faced with facts will either insult you or change the subject depending on what it is to something else. They don't research for the truth because in their minds the truth is what they believe. They listen to Fox and the right wing radio shows to get their vindication and that's all they need. He sees the world differently than we do and believes there is only right and wrong with no in-between. Sadly, he doesn't even know that he is wrong most of the time but he will continue to post his views which is ok because we have free speech. But in the end he's still wrong. His behavior is deplorable. The problem is, it has become culturally acceptable. The Framers took citizenship very seriously. It wasn't a game to them. If the Framers had thought the people would act like 2Stupid4Words, they wouldn't have created a form of government in which the common person gets to vote. That would be you, and here's how we know. 1. You ignore most of the data. Occasionally you'll cherry pick one piece of information. Sometimes it's accurate, sometimes it isn't. You don't seem to care one way or the other. 2. You ignore every point that doesn't support the conclusion you decided in advance to draw. This is called being narrative-driven, not fact-driven. In other words, you don't care what the facts are as long as they support your story. 3. You ignore huge issues, like the global economy. It doesn't support your fantasy. 4. You draw ridiculous conclusions based on flimsy information, and that's on a good day. Many times you have no information to support your conclusions at all. 5. You disrespect not only the President of the United States but the majority of the American people, who have elected him twice. 6. You parrot right wing talking points instead of thinking through and drawing your own conclusions. Those are not characteristics of an intelligent person, or an objective one. Apparently you're unaware that the Framers kept detailed notes of the Constitutional Convention (CC) of 1787. At that time, democracy as a feature of government was a revolutionary idea. At the CC and in the Federalist Papers, the Framers expressed their concerns about the people's ability to govern wisely. Bluntly put, they were concerned that ordinary people might not be sufficiently well-informed to make wise decisions. The Framers devised a system whereby ordinary citizens would vote for a Representative, but members of the state legislature would choose Senators, and presidents would be selected by an electoral college, its members to be selected by popular vote. The Framers could easily have made another decision, and if they had thought the people could not be trusted to make wise choices, they surely would have. That doesn't take a crystal ball, it takes knowledge of history and an appreciation of what the Framers wrote. Your comments on topic after topic that you open, which are essentially repeats of the same thing, are juvenile and uninformed.
