Notice how not one of the right wingers on this site will ever discuss any of these issues in any depth. They're the biggest issues facing our country, and the world, but 2Stupid4Words, et. al., have nothing to say.

That's because Fox doesn't tell them what to think about the big issues. Fox isn't interested in the big issues, the things that really matter. Fox is only interested in peddling propaganda so that the big issues DON'T get discussed. So we waste time over phony crises and non-existent scandals instead of discussing things that really matter.

Tragically, tens of millions of Americans like 2Stupid4Words refuse to accept the fact that they're being manipulated by a propaganda machine.

If they respond at all, it's with some snot-nosed remark that they've heard on right wing TV or talk radio. They have no ideas of their own and no depth, so they can't have any meaningful discussion of issues. The point is not to get at them. The point is that our democracy can't function properly if people treat matters of common concern the way they do.

We've sold our economy, our natural environment and our future to the oil companies. The government is bought and paid for on their behalf.

This was the first point raised on this topic. It's a huge issue, far outweighing all the things the right wingers are talking about, put together. Anyone who truly cares about our country cares about this issue. Yet right wingers don't seem to care at all.
