But it's all true. Reagan, Bush and Bush increased the debt as a percentage of GDP, and they did it for no good reason. Obama inherited a major economic crisis, as did FDR. All you had to do was open the link and look at the numbers to know it's all true. The debt would have risen no matter who was elected in 2008. Revenues fell, incomes fell and the government's obligations remained. There's nothing the debt can do as a percentage of GDP under those circumstances except increase. Those are all facts. But you don't want to live in a world of facts. You only want to make inane remarks that feed your fantasies. And you won't listen or learn anything.

While you're making snot-nosed remarks without a shred substance in them, real things are happening in the country and in the world. These things are related in real ways that have virtually nothing to do with the propaganda you're obviously parroting from those who "inform" your fantasy world. I voted for President Obama instead of John McCain or Mitt Romney because:

1. I more nearly agree with what Democrats propose to do than with what Republicans propose to do.
2. The domestic issues identified by Obama as most important (health care, infrastructure, energy) are more important than issues identified by McCain and Romney as most important (immigration, guns and social wedge issues).
3. On foreign policy, the claim that we’ve lost standing in the world under President Obama is a fantasy bordering on a lie. Bush’s policies were disastrous, McCain proposed to continue them and Romney argued that we should return to them. Obama had opposed them and promised to take a new direction. He didn’t do as much as I would have liked but it is an improvement.
4. Obama understands the importance of a vibrant middle class. McCain and Romney do not.

In addition, though Obama was less experienced than McCain, he proved himself during the 2000 campaign to be the calmer, more responsible candidate, as opposed to McCain, who proved to my surprise that he was a hothead who shouldn’t have his finger on the nuclear trigger. Romney confirmed what we’ve known about him for a long time: that he only understands and cares about very rich people.

There are other reasons and I know you’re just a troll but unfortunately, millions of people “think” like you do – if you call that thinking. Seriously, do you really think I wouldn’t have voted for Hilary if she had won the nomination? You right wing nut-cakes spin out these fantasies, and no amount of facts can shake you loose of them.
