You also seem to forget that the AG hasn't lied about anything.

The Queen of the Tea Party Michelle Bachman has decided after 8 years she is leaving Congress. She is going to collect after 5 years approximately $26,500.00 per year. Not bad for a person who never passed one piece of legislation.

In the first place, there aren't many rabid liberals in this country. Liberals yes but rabid liberals, not many.

Years ago when I was growing up in Kearny, I was a solid member of the Republican Party. In fact, my parents were heavily involved in Politics. This was at a time when only the Third Ward had two Republicans and every so often a Republican won in the Fourth Ward. The difference was that both parties were respectful of each other. If you needed help your Councilman was there for you even though he knew you didn't vote for him. Nobody called you a Liberal or Conservative and you weren't mocked because of your views. I was in the Town Hall Chamber the day the Republicans finally gained control of the Council and Tony Cavalier became Mayor. I also was there when Dave Rowlands was elected. Even though the Republicans were in control nothing changed.

When my parent retired to South Jersey I left to go to College. And then talk radio began. The civility disappeared because now you had people telling you how evil the Democrats were. Blame them for all your troubles. And here we are today. The Republicans in the Congress do nothing but try to kill that evil Obama care, planned Parenthood, de-fund Acorn which hasn't been in existence for 4 years and on and on. Create jobs are the thing of the past although they ran on job creation to get elected. And of course when someone tries to change thing they're immediately called Liberals.

Now you are going to vote in a Special Primary Election to replace your Senator, the vote again in a special election to choose a new Senator a month before the General Election at a cost of between 12-24 Million Dollars. Why aren't Patriot and his ilk talking about that as a waste of money. I guess that your Governor is a Liberal right? He can find the money to protect himself but can't find the money to help Kearny and Harrison pay for Police and Fire Fighters.

What Patriot needs to understand is because of their actions and words the Republican Party is becoming a laughing stock and if they keep going in the direction they're headed a minority party.

He made it OK to say any nonsense you want to say; before Reagan, the media used to call politicians out for inaccuracies but Reagan said so many ridiculous things that the media just accepted it. So he did what he did, and our problems didn't get better. On the contrary, they got worse, and people can't figure out why. It's because we need an effective government but the current Republican party wants government to fail because that supports their narrative. And the American people just keep on buying it, getting angrier and angrier, and blaming the government for the problems, even though they're effectively trying to kill the government. It's one of the most absurd things we've ever seen, and it's all the more amazing that it has gone on for decades in a country that has (or used to have) one of the world's best educational systems. My comment was meant to show that both Parties could disagree but come up with a compromise. I know it's hard for you to understand because of your

hatred for our current President. You don't seem to understand that you had two Presidential Candidates that both lost which indicates the majority does not share you or any of your ilk's opinion.

Today, we have a Congress that has a 10 percent approval rating. The Speaker can't control his own Party out of fear of the Tea Party. In the Senate, time after time the Republican's have shot down any attempt to help the neediest in this Country. The only Legislation they were able to pass is an Immigration Bill that makes no sense. We're going to spend billions of dollars just to please a few nut jobs like Ted Cruz.

Back when Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton and Bush was President, there was real bi-partisan support. They didn't agree but somehow they were able to come to an agreement. Today there is no compromise without pandering to the extreme right wing. In fact, any republican who dares to speak out gets threatened with a Primary. That was my point of my post.

If helping the States of New York and New Jersey, with Federal Aid is a liberal idea than you really are out of touch. Also your comments about drinking kool-aide is getting stale, so try and come up with a better response.
