Guest Guest
Just Stop.....your constant bickering with these douches makes you out to be just as much of an asshole as they are. Excuse me, the two sides in this "discussion" are nowhere close to equal. One side is making substantive points, thinking clearly and addressing things directly and with intellectual honesty. 2Stupid4Words is making his usual collection of stupid, meaningless, snide remarks. So why engage in the discussion? Because some people in this community believe nonsense and act as though their nonsense was the way everyone should think and act. It's damaging the quality of our kids' education and the quality of our community life. This subject is relevant to Kearny because this topic is an outgrowth of the topic about Losick's film. Kearny is where the story behind that film happened, and it didn't happen that way by accident. It happened because of a strange community ethic and bizarre way of looking at things in Kearny. The numbskulls who caused this still don't understand why the world laughed, and still laughs, at our town. Not for nothing, the world looks at our town as though it was somewhere out in a remote area of the world, far removed from civilization. If they look at people here as though they were Neanderthals, it's because some people in this town insist on acting that way. It probably has an adverse effect on our property values, because in this part of the country, people don't want to feel as though they're living in a remote region of the Ozarks in the 1930s. You can get away with that degree of ignorance in some parts of the country but not here. I don't like it, because Kearny could be more than that. If you don't like the "discussion," you are free to ignore it and move on.
