KFD & HFD Short of 300

It's almost October and I don't see near the 300 fires per year that the Harrison and Kearny Fire Depts. have reported to the state, to the best of my knowledge, in the past. They are both at a minimum 290 fires short that would have to be exaggerated in the next 3 months. Nobody wants fires, but stop lying about the numbers. Hudson County Fire Depts. tend to mislead the state and the residents on the facts. There has never been or never will be 300 fires a year in Kearny or Harrison.

Hudson County FD's, in my opinion, include in their service calls items such as going to the bank, trips to the grocery store, and other personal errands to validate their 25 vacation, overblown salaries, and medical benefits for life. It's pathetic. They Fire Unions also use 9/11/2001 as a bargaining chip for promotions and raises that are not merit based. They did no more than other citizens on that date. The NJ Firemen watched it on TV. Period. A few made an appearance in the days after when it was safe.

The guys that did work on that day in NY, Washington, and PA. did a courageous thing that not many would do and that should never be detracted from those specific individuals. It's disheartening to see school children taken on trips to insignificant paid fire clubhouses as far as the NJ and beyond to give forced, graded assignments thanking these non-participating underachievers for saving peoples lives on 9/11/2001. These fake wannbe heroes accept awards for watching the event on TV and falsely take credit for others efforts. Let the guys from the FDNY and NYPD have their 15 minutes and stop the bragging by Firemen who claim to have "been there in their mind and heart" for their imaginary brothers. What a bunch of crap! The event has been cheapened by fake war stories from firemen who were not involved and it detracts from those deserving of credit.

My stock portfolio is up about 40% this year because of wise investing. The Kearny powers that be invested $10,000,000.00 on fire department salaries and benfits and realized a "$.00", nada, nilch, nothing ROI for the residents major tax hit. $14,000,000.00 in the bank with good investing could have done a lot for the town instead of financing the lavish lifestyles of a group of out of shape, underachieving loser friends and family members of the politicians and other varied crooks. A smart town council would have given these part-time sleepers minimum wage and still filled the beds at night while making a tremendous profit for the town. The town does a good job distracting residents from issues such as this and the disasterous B.O.E. with tales of high school football.

In my opinion, the firemen told the truth that the residents were sheep and they were the wolves. The fleecing continues and that's why the residents taxes will go up again, at a large increment, to foster more promotions and salary increases to the unions and their members. Keep voting the liberals in suckers. My town has a volunteer FD and taxes are 50% less than Kearny for a much more upscale area.
