Lets not forget the many educators, adminstrators, that have secured family members in the Kearny Schools. Former Schools Chief Frank DeGesere has many family employed in the Kearny Schools, his wife, sister in law, his sister and his Assistant Super Robert Sprague was able to secure a position for his wife,and the list goes on and on and the poor umemployed teacher who knows nobody has no chance of getting a fair shot at a job because of this "Breakfest Club" of Board Members, Adminstrators, that have the inside track in the hiring process and why we as a community have to stop this purpose of GREED and SELF INTEREST and return Kearny Schools to a first class School System. The time is now to end hidden agendas and elect people with NO FAMILY INTERESTS in the Schools. Again LINDENFELSER, LOWERY, and DORAN all have FAMILY MEMBERS employed in the Kearny Schools. Mr. DiGesere's wife and sister-in-law were both hired before he was the superintendent of schools - he may have been the VP at Washington when his sil was hired and I don't remember when his wife was hired - but it was BEFORE he was the superintendent - please your lies only make you suspect.

Yes, the end result was a 9-0 vote, but the way that vote was arrived at is also of some importance. Somebody posted on this website boasting about the 0 tax increases since the Fab 5 took majority, I'm calling it out as crap. And if not for a discussion led by the board minority, it is more than likely that the vote would have gone for the 2% cap, which would have resulted in a TAX INCREASE. If elected I will have a reason for making a decision popular or not but every decision has to have the best interest of our children in mind. I will be accessible to our community to hear their concerns and work on them together. Sometimes the people with all the experience are not our best choices but the people who are willing to make changes and stand up with integrity are. My platform is simple. Accountability: continue to improve financial performance while keeping taxes stable. Hire the necessary administration to lead the district and help our teachers do their job by supporting them. When the adminstration is in place the board must work together with educators and parents to improve our test scores. Communication: I would encourage increased communications between the board, administrators, teachers, parents and students. If we are well informed and feel included there will be cooperation and a desire to help. Technology: as we improve our schools such as the high school project we need to have the best technology available. We need to obtain the very best technology for all our schools. Without cost to the taxpayer. By use of grants and gifts we can fund our technology that is needed.

I continue to walk throughout Kearny meeting the voters. I believe a candidate should address the needs of our schools. I also believe that if elected I need to work with the board to accomplish my goals.

As long as you're related to the new incoming board you'll be ok, such as a brother/sister, sister-in-law, but not really your sister-in-law because she is your husbands brothers wife, or some board member could be your godfather/mother, or just be a good friend and you're in.
