The Tax payers don't want to hear about any new projects unless you start attaching a tax dollar amount to your development announcements.. What would be helpful to all involved would be an clear cut, laymans terms explanation of the current New Jersey Taxing system for small towns. Not another development announcement placed in the local newspaper specifically for said development contracting companies to see you plug their ideas, Damn your good!!

But a real explaination of where small town tax dollars are spent, What factors are used to determine how the money is spent. What industries and businesses in the town should pay, and maybe even a balance of the account the 5 million was deposited into.. Lives were drasticly changed because of this, Lay offs and demotions happened.

Gee I can distinctly recall that the Independents For Change proposed an auditor just for this purpose, Transparency in this matter would be a great accomplishment.

So here's the challenge Mayor, That is, if you still have a shred of respect.

Like the above quote says A full page explanation to the taxpayers in Harrison. Raymond, more and more people will see this and post it all around the web.. Prospective condo residents will see this and maybe re think moving to a non transparent town to plunk down their money. People going online to check out the new luxury hotel will see the same truth . Man up and take the medicine.

Maybe if you word it right you will score some points with Chris Christie

You DID not save the day, so don't take any credit by smiling holding a check.

We as taxpayers take that picture as a slap in the face.. Get your boys together at the Greeks, have a nice greasy egg sandwich and hash it out. You can do it big guy.

You have a lot of nerve criticizing the great Mayor McDonough. He has brought prosperity to all residents of the town and has made Harrison the most happening and in-town in NJ. I hope he sets a new record by staying in office longer than Rodgers. God bless Harrison, the land that I love......

Harrison taxpayers should chip-in to have the Joe Paterno statue shipped to Harrison, melted down and turned into a 10 ft. tall Mayor McDonough statue. It can be placed on the lawn of the closed Library Park surrounded by magnificent foliage as a tribute to the man who took a dismal financially devastated and corrupt town into the thriving metropolis of today. It can be maintained for decades by assessments placed on the taxpayers who would gladly offer more than asked of them. The town did such a great job (lol) with the 9/11 memorial that I sure this endeavor would be an equally great project.

Albert ,Wow, you mean let's get the statue of a man who knew kids were getting screwed, and place it in a town where adults are being screwed. Maybe then his buddy Spanish **** will come back up from florida and have something to shine. We all remember ****, I'm sure theres more people besides ******retired) from the DPW that he owes money to. That would love to get their hands on him. I immediately thought of **** when I read the thread about town workers paying their tabs at Harrison delis, Because It's no secret that he owed each of those delis at least $200.oo each. I guess he learned from the best huh?

Back to the subject... The Mayor just might not be educated enough to provide truthful answerts on his own. Who ever you are Aunt Bunhead you do make great points, If the Masyor really did care about the people in town he would have answers. Down the Shore if people have problems they get together and open and honestly discuss solutions. Mayor, how are you going to fit in down the shore when you retire soon? Honesty is the best policy.

SP .**** owes a lot of people money, that retired DPW worker should have been paid first. His brother still lives in Harrison so everyone that reads this, Please let ******* ****'s brother know about the debt. Brothers should stick together and help pay each others debts.

Hey I thought **** from the ******* **** was all buddy buddy with the Mayor? Did the sun in Florida melt his brain? Did the telemarketer job or the waiter job make him woosey? Maybe ***** gravy train with the woman ran out of steam . Maybe he can borrow some Viagra from an old timer there to help get the train back on track.

Mayor McDonough is the most decent, honest, and handsome man I have ever met in my life. I would love to rub a warm stick of butter all over his head, neck, and ears then lick it off. If being a Mayor was an olympic event, he would get a gold medal. Wow, the pretty colors. Bitchin dude! I needs me another hit of that funky stuff, Yo. Where am I? Oh, I'm on duty at the Firehouse. Yo, can I get a raise?

A-lot of Bs talk but no answers that does not surprise me .Seems like the only people who know the truth are the mayor and his cronies. That is nothing to be proud of, Honorable politics hide nothing, Unless what's going on is not honorable.Which one is it?
