Guest The Silver Fox Posted July 19, 2012 Report Share Posted July 19, 2012 Honesty is the best policy. Even more so for people with many ''sleep less nights'' But will honesty EVER be heard.? The state of the town of Harrison as a town is where? I personally think there is a major ploy to keep raising the property taxes on homes until good ,hardworking people can't afford to live. here. So they have to sell their houses, then the houses are torn down condos put up. Achieving a goal of having only well to do people in town, Blocks upon blocks of plastic people, Phony people living on ground where iOtis Elevator and Rca companies stood and did a bustling business. Suit wearing hacks passing by our great Veteran memorial and not even glancing up or taking a moment to thank those Harrison residents who made the ultimate sacrifice. These people won't give a damn about joining the ELKS., They wiill have much better things to do with their time. Hopefully in a few years someone will finally get the good idea and change the name of the town. By then whatever is left of the good remaining families will have left. Rightfully so..... I doubt anyone will guess the name of the real Silver Fox. Who was/ is he? Back in the med 70's, an article in the Sunday Star Ledger on Mayor Frank E. Rodgers referred to him as the 'Silver Fox'.
