Guest The Man
The Harrison fireman that are getting terminated very soon should ask Gregg Ellis if there are any openings down in S. Carolina. He was only making $37,500 there so that's $100,000.00 less than Harrison pays, but it's still more than any fireman anywhere should make. The order of the remainder of Harrisons terminations, in my opinion, are going to follow this order. 1) All municipal services such as garbage pick-up, street cleaning, and others but the department heads will be kept because they are all that matter anyway. 2) Fire Department. Never needed, easily expendable. 3) Teachers, all related school jobs except the B.O.E. and Principals/Vice Principles. No schools but these jobs were never about education anyway. 4) Police. Nobody important, in the Mayors and Councils eyes live in Harrison, because they all have their primary residences down the shore. Jimmy D. and the Situation walking on the boardwalk hand in hand. Awesome. 5) Every last nepotism and patronage job until the last dollar is gone. That's it. This has already started so it shouldn't take more than a year to totally bankrupt the town. The Majestic Harrison on the Passaic reduced to nothing by it's ELECTED officials. Ouch!

Yes there will be reductions in manpower but the basic services will continue to exist. The only thing for sure is you'll never be a Harrison firefighter, you can't make the grade, Charlie.
