Towing Policy

It is my opinion that the town would realize a sizeable towing fee income by purchasing a super large tow truck for when trucks get stuck under the bridges and a regular size truck for regular towing situations. It would require three experienced operators of the equiptment and some land to use as the towing storage facilty. NYC makes a small fortune on the same thing. The town could set the price per tow and per diem storage charges. Once the Firehouse on 7th ST. is sold and the almost new equiptment is sold the purchase of the tow trucks would be a minimal amount. The three employees hired could be not related to the Mayor or friends of the council and work at a reasonable wage. It's a good as gold money maker. The Firehouse itself, engines, an related items should be sold rather quickly when bids are taken. The timing is perfect.
