Is their anyone who is in charge of the Parking Enforcing Officers? For at least the past few years they continually skip the Firemens cars which stay parked in the same spots for 24 hours without getting a ticket or having the out of town employee parking pass. I would say that not one of them even bought one. These P.E.O.'s routinely skip vehicles parked around town hall because they hang a firemens shirt over the steering wheel with the fireman patch showing. The P.E.O.'s write a car in back of thf the ff's car, skip their car, then write a ticket to the car in front. In addition, on Wilhelm Street there is a municipal parking lot but the P.E.O.'s NEVER go in there for fear of having to write a fireman a ticket. These people do not live in town and are taking away the few parking spots available to the residents with complete immunity. That is not fair to the residents. The P.E.O.'s are commiting a criminal offense by these actions and should be fired and prosecuted. The firemen on Wilhelm even park on the sidewalk for 24 hours without getting a ticket. It's nice watching a woman with a baby in a carriage having to walk in the street in danger because of this, and yet no ticket.

Why is this allowed? Don't these P.E.O.'s answer to anyone? This is another example of preferable treatment to certain people while the residents get screwed. It's a damn shame.

Many people rent apartments in town and do not have access to a driveway. We also don't make over $100,000.00 a year like you for doing nothing. None of you even live in Harrison, how do you qualify for free parking? It can't be income based because your salaries are way out of the picture for any assistance. Why don't you stop insulting the residents and do the right thing for once.

Tickets are not issued to marked Police Cars, thats correct. They are issued to the Police Officers personal vehicles the same as the residents.

The first part of your statement is correct, the second part - no so much. Tickets are NOT issued to Police Officers personal vehicles.

Barney, I have the FF shirt you asked me for to hang over your steering wheel. Just remember, you can't wear the shirt. (You could never make the grade, Charlie).
