Guest Guest Posted January 2, 2011 Report Share Posted January 2, 2011 KPD had the identity of the shooter within 5 minutes, as well as a description, and the fact he lived in Newark. East Newark PD, using this information, were able to grab, and hold him as he went for the Clay St Bridge in less than 90 minutes from when the incident happened. It happened at about 3am and the girls who lives in the house next door were having a party. An ex boyfriend of someone came and started problems. The people were telling the kid to leave because they dont want problems. everyone turned around and heard 3 shots. the kid got hit in his neck and went out his jaw and was shot 1 or 2 time in his body. i think the kid who was shootin shot himself in the foot and thats how they caught him. i kno the girls who live next door so this is comin from them. also kearny police should bring a clean up crew because there was alot of blood and they left it. What would of happen if a kid picked up the snow wit all that blood. i have pics of the blood and there was ALOT. My parents had to clean it up because the cops let rubber gloves on the floor and all the stuff they used. Why should the residents have to clean up their mess and someone elses blood that we dont know. what would happen if that kid had aids or something and i was cleaning it up thats nasty. kearny police and emegency crews need to CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES. If I were you I would be a lot more concerned with the bullets that were flying around your neighborhood and grateful that the cops caught the guy in a timely fashion. With that being said, who do you feel should clean up blood after a shooting? Should the police stop trying to find the man wanted for attempted murder so they can mop up blood? or should the EMT's clean up the mess before they bring the shooting victim to the hospital? The answer is simple, stuff happens, if your a home owner its your job to maintain your property. You should have cleaned up the mess if you are so concerned about it.
