Right wingers come to politics in fear. It's what drives them and what they express.

Well, I have good and bad news, and it's the same thing: You have good reason to be afraid but not the reasons you think. While you've been patting yourselves on the backs for protesting taxes and clamoring to throw all the politicians out of office, the oil companies have been making a fortune off your willingness to keep feeding them money without complaint.

Oil is the reason for at least one war in the Middle East, and arguably Iraq. It's the reason why the Islamic world hates us because we have exploited and interfered in their countries to ensure a smooth flow of oil. We have probably thrown enough money overseas on oil to have stayed out of debt.

But you geniuses want to whine and complain about taxes and some poor schlub from Mexico who just wants to wash a few dishes to earn a living. And so you keep voting for Republicans, who are bought-and-paid-for by big oil, and you can't figure out why nothing ever seems to work.

You're not going to take your country back unless you smarten up. You might win an election here or there but you won't solve any problems, and so in the end you'll just be voted out again. Meanwhile, the oil companies will continue to laugh all the way to the bank with your money - and mine, you jerks.
