Guest IFC Harrison NJ
Did anyone hear if that is true about the state being cut and does that mean more layoffs will come to Harrison and is that the reason why the Town Council Meeting was canceled till after the Election. The Mayor received a letter from Gov. Christie's office on 9/16. The second Ward Council reps didn't get an email about it until the end of the month. Maria and Steve couldn't get a satisfactory answer for the delay and no response from the Mayor about what he's doing about it. Ask your Councilmen and the Mayor when they come knocking at your door. We would have brought it up at the meeting. You might also ask the Mayor about using Harrison personnel and facilities for political fund-raising (including the Board of Education). We would love to offer picnics and Bar-B-Ques, but we don't have the money for that. We need to replace our campaign signs which are constantly torn down in the middle of the night by town employee mayhem squad and print out material to give to residents. Our contributions come from the hard-working shrinking middle class, not the fat cats rolling in our taxpayer funded salaries and pensions. CALL FOR A DEBATE. Call for it LOUD and CLEAR. I VOTE AND I WANT A DEBATE! CAN THE NEW EDITOR AT THE OBSERVER HOST/MODERATE OR BETTER IF WE INVOLVE THE STAR-LEDGER?
Guest guest
I VOTE AND I WANT A DEBATE! CAN THE NEW EDITOR AT THE OBSERVER HOST/MODERATE OR BETTER IF WE INVOLVE THE STAR-LEDGER? Can The Observer, The Star Ledger or The Jersey Journal at least cover the issues in the paper? It's beginning to seem like The Observer only covers the puff pieces the McDonough administration puts out. Maybe the NY Red Bulls double-page color ads have clouded their journalistic integrity! Guest vote with your head
The meeting was cancelled since the Mayor and most of the council memebers were fearful of someone questioning why are our taxes so high? Also they only recieved 1.5 million in aid from the state instead of 5.3 million which was asked for by the Mayor. Maybe if the RedBulls pay the taxes they owe oh yeah they say they don't have to pay them. So now fellow residents we will pay and pay and pay so make sure you vote with your head not over it.
