While I was voting at Roosevelt School yesterday a man with a yellow patch pinned to his chest was asking me about where I lived. This man who I later found out was Bernadette McDonalds ******* asked me to vote for his wife so that she could give her daughter her diploma at graduation.

I just found out today that that is illegal and I want to know where and how I can file a complaint against this man?

If anyone has any information on how I can report this to the proper authorities please respond to this post.

You basically gave them a blank check; if the budget failed at least they would have to explain why there spending so much. 3 vice principals, superintend getting almost 200k a year and shady items getting passed without any explanation, and your happy that it passed? Kearny residents should be OUTRAGED. Kearny Town Clerk DeArco was notified not once but twice of what Mr.McDonald was doing at Roosevelt School during yesterdays BOE Elections on behalf of his wife.

Mr.McDonald was illegally ,while acting as a residency checker and on school property asking voters to vote for his wife at the voters booth. The actions of Mr.McDonald are illegal, immoral and an injust to the Town of Kearny and the candidates that ran a fair campaign. All the candidates are entitled to a fair election process and Mr.McDonald had denied all the other candidates that right.

Mr. DeArco by law was obligated to notify The Hudson County Election Board and never did. Mr.DeArco also failed to respond to Roosevelt School to investigate the situation as he informed the people complaining he would.

Mayor Santos and the Town Council has to look into this situation as it has a bearing on all of our rights to vote and be counted.

I was at Roosevelt School and watched McDonald campaign for his wife in the voting room while disguised as a residency checker. This is a shameful and dishonest way to try and get votes for any candidate and needs to be investigated.

I have several issuess with peoples actions during yesterdays election. John Munro stood in the Roosevelt School for several hours during the voting. That is not allowed. John Campbell was soliciting votes on behalf of the challengers at the polls at the Board of Health. That is not allowed.

Also what is the crap that KOTW is posting this under their don not edit policy. They have been editing everthing that was positive about the incumbents since day one.

By the way, now John Munro knows who his real friends are, bullet voting was alive and well at Roosevelt School. Way to go "Academy".

John Munro "STOOD" in the Roosevelt School area for several hours in an attempt to stop Steve McDonald from begging for votes for his ethically challanged wife. Munro did not campagin or beg for votes, which is allowed.

Did you notice our BOE attorney assisting Shop-Rite Steve during the election?

Shop-Rite Steve however was admitting to voters that he knew he wasn't allowed to solicit votes but did anyway.

The actions of Steve McDonald are terrible and warrant investigation.

The actions of King and O'Malley are just as troubling and show their TRUE COLORS.

Obviously they were not supporting their ticket, they were out for themselves which is evident by the results.

Regardless of all the rhetoric, I was confronted and basically cornered by Steve McDonald just as I was entering the booth to vote. Steve said, and I quote," I KNOW I AM NOT ALLOWED TO DO THIS BUT CAN YOU PLEASE VOTE FOR MY WIFE BERNADETTE MCDONALD" end quote.

I also witnessed him say the exact same thing to the four people ahead of me.

The Hudson County Elections Board should set up a number to call so that all the voters who were harassed like me can put in a complaint and give our statements.
