Guest Guest
He beat Higgins to get on the council as an Independant. Then he joined the team. He always used the threat to run for Mayor to get what he wanted. As Supt. he should have started at $150,000 because Harrison is a small school district. So, he knows how to manipulate the system and get his way. While others in Harrison are getting laid off, he got himself a high salary while voting for the layoffs. What a guy? Whoever said politics was a church picnic??? As Dick Nixon once said, “Only two things matter in politics. What people can do FOR you and what people can do TO you!” Go Jim Boy!!! Guest Teacher Booster
Whoever said politics was a church picnic???As Dick Nixon once said, “Only two things matter in politics. What people can do FOR you and what people can do TO you!” Go Jim Boy!!! Doran had a meeting with the teachers an asked them to take a 1.5% cut in pay and he will do the same. Yea right, he makes over 200K while the average teacher is 1/3 of that. Dr. Doran do the right thing and cut your pay 20% and get rid of all your friends that you padded the payroll with before you layoff any teachers. I'm not a tecaher but I support them 100%. While your at it get rid of the Assistant Supt.

What people can do FOR you and what people can do TO you!” Go Jim Boy!!! The only reason he is where he is is that the Mayor was afraid he would win in a Mayoral race. What a joke! Doran never wanted to be Mayor. Once again the Mayor was fooled into buying off an opponent. He bought him off with our tax dollars. He did the same with DPW and Ass't Supt. of Schools. He's now doing the same with Anselmo Milan to get rid of Steve and Maria. When are you people going to stop being manipulated? Wise up! If you think that not voting is going to stop anything you are dead wrong. Get registered, go out and vote, and vote against the "Powers that Be"! Guest Guest
Let's not forget the fact that thousands of jobs statewide could be saved if the NJEA let their teachers VOTE FOR A PAY FREEZE to save their co-worker's jobs!! Between $800,000 - $3.2 MILLION dollars would go back into the BOE budget and SAVE jobs and programs for the kids! The NJEA is telling teachers it wouldn't be a 'bodies for bucks' deal necessarily but check out the Lacey school district who OUSTED their UNION REP who was not allowing a vote....they insisted on a VOTE AND SAVED 30 JOBS in their district!!! Those who were pink-slipped are now employed once-again. Nice way to LIE to your members NJEA. Teachers state-wide are suspect when they are told one thing and yet teachers are finally stepping up to the plate and INSISTING on a vote to save their co-worker's jobs. The NJEA is making teachers look selfish and un-caring which couldn't be further from the truth. Teachers tell your reps you want to VOTE for (or against) a PAY FREEZE! We live in a democracy NOT a dictatorship. Tell the NJEA reps 'we vote or YOU are out.
