Guest Guest
Madoff, McDonough and Doran: A Ponzi Scheme Bernie. Now an inmate. Lived a life of luxury. His wealth was not of his own, but built upon the money of others. Sentenced to 150 years in prison. The Plumber. (May Peter B. Higgins rest in peace.) No offspring. Looking for a legacy but is lost without Pete. Likes but doesn’t trust Doran at the same time. And now he has to balance leverage with lay-offs. He’s not up to the task. Sentenced to non-election in November. The Superintendent. (May FER and OJ DiSalvo rest in peace.) The 1998 Campaign- the biggest Ponzi Scheme in Town. Not a single promise kept. But keep promising and get the highest paying job in Town. Jim Boy and Bernie- perfect together. Sentenced to being a mediocre Superintendent for the rest of his life. Bernie. The Plumber. The Superintendent. It was only a Ponzi Scheme. Party over. Enjoy the hangover.

However we need intelligent, concerned citizens to step forward and run for office. These people are ripe for the picking but the problem has always been an apathy on the part of the citizens in Harrison to oppose the "annointed ones". Until Harrison has it's own "Tea Party" and puts up a slate of candidates to oppose them, these "annointed ones" will continue to get re-elected and continue to thumb their noses at the taxpayers.
