Guest Eagle
The videos from the Special Meeting of the Mayor and Council held today (Nov. 17, 2009 @ 4pm) are now available on my website: HarrisonMeetings.com This is a powerful video. All should watch. The next Governor and his AG. should also view it. As a matter of fact the current AG should watch also. It is Harrison at its best. Nothing new but captured on tape. Oh if we only had video of the past 40 years. What you will learn: 1. Almost all the council people should have been at other jobs at the time of the meeting. 2. One Council person works 24/7. If you do the math he is grossly under paid. 3. The Town may be open to several new lawsuits. 4. Parking costs to go to NewYork will be going up. This video is better than Jerry Springer! I missed your meeting postings on your website, this is the only way people are able to see what goes on, I never know when meetings are help or changed to. Again thank you and keep up the good work and I appreciate you allowing the public a chance to know who we vote for and how they do their job as a public official or elected official. I find it most disturbing that Superintendent Doran would attempt to dismiss you as a menace. Would he do the same to a group of senior year students who might appear before him as part of a civic class assignment? I can understand the antics of the other council clowns, but what are we to make of the Chief Town Teacher? Stop the nonsense, Superintendent Doran, and act/assume your role. The mayor wanted to adjourn the meeting immediately after the reading of the ordinance. Maria McCormick then asked if it was a public meeting or not. Two attorneys for the parking lots spoke up as well as Joe Woods and John Pinho. John raised a question about the Tanski affair as to whether any monies were recovered. The answer was "no". John suggested a search of assets should have begun. It was brought out by Steve McCormick that no parking lot operators were informed about the upcoming ordinance. An attorney was in the middle of speaking and before he was finished the Mayor closed the meeting.
Guest Guest
After watching the meeting on the internet (because I was at work and could not attend), it shows what a disgrace and exactly how childish most of these council members are (mayor included). I hope this town gets sued and the residents finally wake up and vote them out!

I hope this town gets sued and the residents finally wake up and vote them out! I did the same and am so gratefull that these meetings could now be viewed on the net. By the time I arrive home from work it's too late to make the meetings. But if this is what goes on at these meetings then by all means when I voted for Mr. James Doran I did not realized that he would be disrespectfull and with no regard to the public it just seemed that thes people making decisions for us are programed to only talk when asked. The two council members at the right side of my screen were the only people that spoke and asked questions and listened. What is going on? I didn't realize that all those seated there except 2 as per the gentleman asking questions had a public job.
