ObamaCare is a bust, his popularity is now under water at 49% and dropping and he's already doubled the deficit he "inherited" in his first 6 months.

He's also shown that he can't speak without a teleprompter, as his calling the Cambridge police sgt's actions stupid shows clearly.

The mask is off this snake oil salesman, all the Loonies were taken in by his glibness and his promises of open government, transparency, on-line budgets before they're voted on (I loved that one), no more pork (another good one) and his bi-partisan approach.

2010 looks like a big year for the GOP in Congress and the plug will be pulled on the community organizer.

Why don't you just ask President Guiliani to take care of it, along with the Republican majority you predicted we would have.

Have you seen some of these "town hall" meetings? MSNBC won't show them, you have to go to FOX. People are starting to understand what this community organizer is trying to do to them and they don't like it.

MSNBC is showing them, and is pointing out the FACT that most of the protesters (1) aren't from the district supposedly being represented and (2) are paid mercenaries working for lobbying groups trying to oppose health care reform.

2smart4u, you’re not a very smart guy lol. Why are you preaching your global views on a local town blog?? What makes it worse is that this town has a bad history with republicans. Remember that the last republican mayor got disbar. Damn I remember when he was around; the town was really going to the gutters.

You’re like most of the people here that just whine about stuff, and god know you do, can you actually give solutions to the problems. While you’re at it can you talk about local issue for a change?

I really don't think you watched MSNBC because they covered them extensively. What MSNBC reported and that FOX conveniently left out was that these are well organzed shout down's bought and paid for by healthcare and insurance lobbyists. It's not a political debate either, it's just hooligans who shout over everyone. Does that make you proud?

You really don't believe all the people protesting at the Town Hall meetings were paid hooligans and not average citizens that want the government to stay

out of their lives and medical decisions. On second thought, if you watch MSNBC you believe it.

They're being recruited, that's a fact.

They are also misinformed because Fox Noise is lying to them, telling them that their own coverage will change under the new law. So of course they're upset but they're upset over nothing. It's an outright lie.

Yo, time to go back to the Rush Limbaugh talking points. His Justice appointment is easily confirmed, the opposition to healthcare reform is being exposed as not being grass roots but drummed up (and paid for) by the healthcare industry, and the economy is bottoming out with unemployment ticking down last month. Oh my, what will the Limbaugh talking points be? that the incipient economic recovery is due to George Bush policies?? (We'll need a chainsaw to cut through the Republican hypocrisy!)

Actually, they are lying hooligans, poisoning town hall meetings and democracy.

After he faced heckling during a heated discussion about health care at a forum on Thursday, Mr. Kagen was confronted by a vocal opponent named Heather Blish, who identified herself as “just a mom from a few blocks away” and “not affiliated with any political party.”

When interviewed by the local NBC affiliate, Ms. Blish insisted she was not a member of the Republican Party. But her page on the networking Web site Linked In said she was the vice chairwoman of the Republican Party of Kewaunee County until last year and worked on the campaign of John Gard, a Republican who ran unsuccessfully against Mr. Kagen last year.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/08/us/politics/08townhall.htm

The Rush Limbaughs of America are equating health care reform with Nazism.

But the only Nazi type behavior I have seen are these "protestors" who act exactly like Hitler's brown shirt when they disrupted opposing political parties before Hitler gained power.
