Guest 2smart4u
Joe Biden continues to amuse with his almost daily gaffes. His latest ones: "It's patriotic to pay more taxes" and he just denounced an Obama ad that was critical of McCain. Among his better ones are "Hillary would have been a better choice for V.P. An outstanding Defeatocratic ticket we have here; a 144 day Senator who's friends include Bill Ayres (a former Weather Underground terrorist), Reverend Wright (a commited hate-mongering racist) and Rezco (a convicted felon). Matched with Joe Biden, a loose cannon who is liable to say anything at any time, makes people wonder, is this the best the Defeatocrats have to offer? Biden is right. Paying more taxes is patriotic if someone is rich and has made a killing off the system and off the American people. They should give something back to help the country. That's what a patriot does. His criticism of his campaign's own ad is honest (a quality you obviously don't value) and his humility vis-a-vis Senator Clinton admirable. What does matter is a candidate taking five contradictory positions on the financial crisis in just a few days, as McCain has done. That displays the hair-trigger temperament of a person who is unfit to lead. Even conservative columnist George Will has made that point. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...8092202583.html Senator McCain is well known for his reckless temper, and it's beginning to catch up to him. Stupid, politics may be about show, but running a country isn't. Your brand of idiotic gotcha politics is what got us into this mess. And yet none of that even comes close to the criminals that are the Bush admin.
