You see Victor and Michael you are good people, but whats going on JUST AINT RIGHT! Unfortunately, what happened to William Tanski can happen to you. This political team does not care about you. If someone has to go down, they'll sell their sole and you'll go down. Do you really think Billy, a long time friend did this on the sly? That the town treasurer (a ******) didn't see the numbers? I understand you need to work, or your children do to, but is it worth the risk? If found guilty, you will lose your government pension. Do you think you'll be covered? Do you think they care about you? Get out of politics, keep your job and keep your pension. If they remove you from your job, sue. Make Millions! I'll still respect you (the people will), but stay in it and get used (you'll do the time).

In broad terms, political corruption is the misuse by government officials of their governmental powers for illegitimate private gain.

Forms of corruption vary, but include bribery, extortion, cronyism, nepotism, patronage, graft, and embezzlement.

Nepotism is the showing of favoritism toward relatives, based upon that relationship, rather than on an objective evaluation of ability or suitability. For instance, offering employment to a relative, despite the fact that there are others who are better qualified and willing to perform the job, would be considered a form of nepotism.

Cronyism is partiality to long-standing friends, especially by appointing them to positions of authority, regardless of their qualifications. Hence, cronyism is contrary in practice and principle to meritocracy. Cronyism exists when the appointer and the beneficiary are both in social contact; often the appointer is inadequate to hold his or her own job or position of authority. For this reason, the appointer appoints people who will not try to weaken his or her own job, or express views contrary to their own views.

Do the right thing! Dedicate the following post, not to the police, not to the fire dept., nor the Harrison Gardens, but to examples of Nepotism & Cronyism in this small town.

Thank you

Guest that goes for all who are doing

that goes for all who are doing illegal things, from the water department turning back senior dials to the street department fixing sidewalks illegally. Billy was in the same shoes as you. He felt threatened and then when he complained and showed a little hesitation, well you know what happened...

Guest that goes for all Dept heads

that goes for all Dept heads, doing things that their told to do. Illegal is Illegal, it doesn't matter who told you. They will not protect you. It's a matter of time. Time could be 6-9 Months, but worst of all is losing the PENSION.

Hurry up. ;) with that parking garage. Park in Harrison and take the train to the game!!

The town deserves to get a cut and so does Many Amaral & Steve Adler who were FORCED OUT & lost their property.

Shall we not forget as Harrisonians, we forced Many & Steve Adler by supporting McDonough and his team of Cronies.

It's time for a change.
