Guest Popologist
What records? Could you cite them, please? Also, that is one out of 12. What about the rest of them? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mark founded what's now known as the Coptic Christian Church in Egypt; Andrew founded what's now known as the Eastern Orthodox Church in then "Byzantium"; Peter founded the Christian Church of Rome in the 1st Century: As to the 9 others (or, uh, 8 if you discount Judas Iscariot), there is no evidence that they founded a church that is the antecedent of any church in existence today. Guest Guest
News Flash ! "Seperation of Church and State" has nothing to do with control. You're reading those Loony Lefty bloggers again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Really, maybe you should explain to all of us just what "separation of church and state" means. Guest Paul
Because every Catholic priest abuses kids. I'm glad you're providing so much support for the seperation of church and state. If Christians can't even agree on their own religion after so many centuries, why should we let them control the most powerful nation in the world? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's worse than not agreeing. Some of these groups are outright nasty to each other. Several of them have a long history of it. Another good way of putting it is why should we trust them with power when they can't even act like Christians. I'm sure some of my atheist and agnostic friends could think of other ways to put it. Can you give any hard facts instead of legends?
