Guest enough is enough Posted June 26, 2005 Report Share Posted June 26, 2005 I would like to know what Town Officials support the reopening of Keegan Landfill??Did they look into other ways this landfill can be cleaned without reopening it? We all agree Schulyer Ave and surrounding area has a flooding problem was this looked into??If you are a Town Official I hope you did your homework on this. If there were, I think someone would have come up with it in the past 33 years. Brownfields doesn't apply here because there is no public private partnership. As a business proposition, closing Keegan to develop is a loser. Like it or not, this is the best we are going to do. Unless, of course, everyone just wants to leave it the way it is.
