i think everyone should get their facts right. first, the shooting happened on the on ramp to 280, nobody was dragged, the officer tried to turn off the ignition after the car was emobilized,thats when the shooting occurred.second, there was no use of anything except the officers gun , no pepper spray, no anything, he went right to deadly force which is not what they are taught. and third, they knew who he was, they could have gotten him later if he got away. they also knew he never carried a weapon...............never........ so to all you who think you know..you know nothing. i read the transcripts, ask the other officer what he said when he was asked if he would have done the same thing as his partner...you'd be amazed at his answer.....................so leave it alone. let it rest. the family has suffered enough. his children do not need this brought up , they are two exceptional kids.both going to college and being upstanding young adults., all the money in the world isn't enough, they lost their father, their youth. :
