Guest What
woo hoo... go to a real competition like they used to.. florida or texas or california, enough of these compete against 1 other team national titles, please... Soccer wins states .. Cheerleaders win preliminary matches <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey ass wipe I guess you aren't involved with the cheering team. They must compete in local competitions to qualify for the nationals - that means beat out other teams. Then when it comes time to travel to the nationals don't hold it against the girls if other qualifying teams didn't raise enough money to attend a national competition. How about doing what the girls basketball team does, travel to other places to play against teams that have no chance of beating the HHS girls - oh wait that was a few years ago when they had a decent team, sorry! Back then Rog knew what teams he cold beat and taht is where he went nothing but good press

They must qualify at a state level which means competing against several other teams to get to the national competition. Once they reach the competition they cannot speak for other qualifying teams as to why they did not attend nationals, maybe they couldn't afford the funding! At least they travel to legit competitions, unlike the basketball teams who line up games against teams they know they will beat just for good press! Guest Guest
cheerleaders practice just as hard as sports players. There'so doubt about that.Regardless they worked hard and came home a winner. That's all that counts. Their hard work payed off.
Guest Guest
Everyone knows that the qualify they do at local competitions are a joke, and competitions will never turn down money.. it's hogwash.. you dont have to qualify, there are ways around it, ask Greg.. And I never said cheering wasnt a sport. It is. Those girls are athletes. But they go away and face ONE or TWO teams and call themselves NATIOnAL CHAMPIONS. When rodg went away, he went to scrrimage.. He DIDNT come back as a NATIONAL CHAMPION... our town cheering used to go to florida and win, ligit stuff. No longer.. THOSE WERE THE DAYS.. but looking around this town, i find myself saying THOSe WERE THE DAYS.. alot more
