Guest Patriot
Dear "Anonymous"I reject your distorted characterization of my impromptu speech. It's easy enough for anyone who cares to hear what I actually said to listen the the audio that's available. (If you want to go ahead and transcribe it and quote directly from a posted verifiable transcription, I'll be happy to defend my extemporaneous remarks against your premeditated "best shot".....and if I've said anything which, after consideration I thought was actually wrong....I would acknowledge the error. None of us is perfect. We all err and we all sin.) You folks that defend this "teacher" seem to be incapable of dealing with the concrete objective reality of the existing world. My words were/are on record...just as the class and the meeting Matthew recorded are on record; yet you insist on doing to me what you did to Matthew....and that is to mis-characterize/distort/pervert an AUDIO RECORDING that is what it is. I invite/urge anyone who is tempted to lend any credence to your distorted sense of what I said to listen to the audio. Further, if anyone cares to dispute or argue with my posts/comments on BlueJersey.net I welcome you doing so at that site and please, do your best. I look forward to an on the record/civil discussion with any one of you. We might learn from each other! Wouldn't that be cool! PS As for the color of my soul...I am content to leave that Judgment to the Eyes of Jesus Christ, your subjective/anonymous opinion is worth much less than His, eh? Nick Lento <{POST_SNAPBACK}> These KHS threads are a magnet for the fire and brimstone crowd. LOL.
Guest Guest
*chuckles* I very much agree. Watching that portion of the session unfold in person was both ammusing and slightly distressing. This time Mr. Pinho missed a wonderful show. The guy from Cliffside Park (the one that many of the LaClair supporters bragged about being so wonderful) was out of control, made a fool out of himself. He lost it, insulted the board members and had the honor of being escorted out by the police officer present at the request of the board president. I guess there is not much action going on in Cliffside Park.
Guest guest
Thank you for sharing this. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Has the Christian side's teacher done 'anything 'wrong' in the classroom since the school board met with him and set him straight as to 'not preach' in class or else you'll be in trouble again? If not, then the student and his group should put the matter to rest.

Is that a defense? A: No. Mr. P was preaching in class in any other town he would have been suspended (minimum punishment) or fired outright. Only in Hudson County does politics twist a simple straight forward decision into the mess we have now. How much has Lindefelser and the other attorney billed to date? He wanted to read the last three paragraphs of his prepared notes. Wow, that is truly utter chaos. HE'S OUT OF CONTROL! lol, please. He lost it, insulted the board members and had the honor of being escorted out by the police officer present at the request of the board president. Uh, if by "escorted out" you mean the cop walked up behind him, tapped him on the shoulder, then Lento nodded and sat down, 'cause that's how it happened. He's a MADMAN, I tell you! Not surprised the apologist crowd has already began distorting the events of the most recent Board meeting. It's sad, really.

You are out of your mind, sir.

It was fun to hear you speaking, you and Mr. Pinho can take turns being the clowns of this circus! We will just make sure that the police officer is there again! He was given a warning not to let it happen again or else he'd be suspended. etc. Since it hasn't happened again, there are other issues to be dealth with in town and at the school. The St Clairs' feel that they are 'better' citizens and more caring of their fellow-man than the teacher. Well, it is time for them to put the matter to rest, if it is nor re-occurring and think of their fellow neighbors and Ky citizens, who need other matters taken care of by the town and see that the taxpayers hard-eaned money in a low-income, blue-collar town is well spent and not wasted. Some people aren't getting the issue. The LaClairs have asked repeatedly for quality control (teacher education) and correction of inappropriate comments (student education). So far, the school has not done either of those. To my understanding, that is why the LaClairs continue to wage this battle, and why people support them. They are right. Until teacher and student education are done, the message is that teachers can get away with this behavior, which will just be ignored most of the time. If you want to argue that point, that's fine, but what you're doing here is ignoring the issue.

What would you call the parents who forced their six year-old children to march around the room with 'Jesus Saves' posters and deliberately disrupt any LeClair supporter who was trying to speak? You are so hypocritical it makes me sick.

Perhaps to build another church that doesn't have to pay taxes itself? I think justice is as good a cause as any to put tax money into, much more so than some crackpot christian fund or society. When the catholic church starts paying its own taxes, then you will have a right to speak about tax money. Until then, have a little humility. No one interrupted, the only thing they did was raise the signs when Paul LaClair was speaking. Why? I don't know, but it doesn't matter because they had the right to do so.., 7, 8, 9, 10 year olds have freedom of speech...they can bring whatever they want. I guess. they did learn something from Matt LaClair's "love" for his freedom of speech...lol!
