why do they put signs up in the courts that say harrison residents only, but do not inforce it. Lately its terrible over there with fights starting against different kids from other towns. I would like to know why its not for harrison residents only. There would be alot less kids and not as much trouble. Let's see something done, Chief Kearns. Thank You.

Guest Kearny Resident

Meola and Harkes were Kearny residents when they played at "The Courts" so what's the problem. Soccer is a universal sport. All are welcome as long as you respect your teammates and your hosts-- the Town of Harrison. Harrison has no other recreation space thanks to the Developers and have to use Kearny fields and West Hudson park.

There are basketball courts all over other towns, not just here. So you play where your from and Harrison residents play here. That's the way it should be HARRISON residents only. What don't you get. Let them stay in Newark and play where most of them are from there are plenty of courts over there. Bye.

Are you people nuts- waste more tax payers money to have someone police who's playing ball on your shitty courts. Kids have fights it has been happening for years especially while playing pick up games it happens lots of testostorone flying the fight and the next day they play again worry about bigger issues like who your mayor will be and who can competently run your town!!! Grow up!! sped tax money wisely-- playground passes what an idiot

Could part of the problem be, we have to few courts to play on and kids have to fight over them?

Don't worry the police chief will be assigning one of the new politically appointed specials to take care of the courts. Watch out MOOSE. Because instead of hiring more police he or THEY feel its easier to hire the specials at a lower price. Wait until the lawsuits come in!!!!!! Taxpayers there are now only 48 cops WHY DO YOU THINK CRIME IS ON THE RISE!!!!!!! Wake up and tell the mayor and council to nix the specials and hire more OFFICERS. There used to be 63 cops do the math.

there's a difference between a fight and getting slashed....the latter is usually what happens today... and yes ideal situation would be to have the area policed...it all goes hand in hand..this is NOT a small issue...

The gizmo is called a "Sledgeway" or as the 'original' model was called the "GINGER" by its creator about 4 years ago. It sells for about $5,000 and goes at approx. 13 miles per hr.
