Harison will receive no revenue from the stadium; no parking receipts, no profit sharing (we must have had a real financial wizard negotiating for us).

If anything, this stadium will raise our taxes. Additional police will be required for traffic contol and for the additional calls for crime. Street Dept. people will be needed to clean up the streets after events.

Throw in the interest and principal on the 40 + million borrowed to help this foreign-owned company build the stadium.

Oh yeah, my taxes are going down.

Harrison's Redevelopment Board membership makes it illegal. It violates State Law and the local ordinance which created it. Governor Corzine has done nothing because his friends are all eating from the Bonding, representation of the developers, or are the developers. This Stadium Project is a bad investment for Harrison. As pointed out, we get nothing. The MetroStars sold the rights to RedBull and got a pretty penny for it. The Mayor and Council should be ashamed of themselves. They sold out for a trip (paid by MetroStars=illegal) to California and maybe they got to trade in their quarters from the parking meter at the MetroStar bank.

At one time, there was a report on the web which detailed how illegal the board is. The person who had it up took it down. Remember Steve Adler, he owns the Driver-Harris plant. His website is down now but he had a report which outlined all the broken promises and the illegalities of the board.

Governor Corzine you did the right thing with the budget, now stop these guys even if they are your friends.

Reporters for the Star Ledger and Jersey Journal, do you job and report on how this is a terrible project.

Friends of Harrison is in favor of a Development:

Harrison is in a drastic need of a Development.

A development that would help all Harrisonians.

We do not agree with the current redevelopment plan.

Outside Developers Are Making Major Changes in Harrison.

Our Students, Long Time Businesses, Residents and Commuters are affected by these changes.

How will the Redevelopment Affect You?

*7,000 new Condos / Apartments planned

*20,000 seat professional Soccer Stadium

*No new Schools

*No Recreational Space

*No SENIOR HOUSING

*No new Fire / Police Stations

*No low income Housing

We are Harrisonians and our voice shall be heard!

Do you know that 7,000 condos can bring up to 14,000 new residents?

Do you know the current population of Harrison as of the census of 2000, is 14,424 people, 5,136 households, and 3,636 families residing in the town?

-That's 2.8 per household 7,000 condos = 19,659 new residents

or a total of 34,083 residents!

Can you imagine if this current re-development plan goes into effect.

The population will be close to 35,000 people.

(now add a 20,000 fans for a soccer game)

*No new Schools

*No Recreational Space

*No SENIOR HOUSING

*No new Fire / Police Stations

*No low income Housing

Vote Millan, Maria Camano, Steve McCormic & Joe Wood

Pitch in and convince a friend to see the light

This is correct. They will coincide with election year 2086.

Perhaps you can take a minute from your busy day (running in and out of the woodwork) and explain to the people of Harrison how, or who will benefit from this stadium.

Plans are to put a toll booth on Frank Rodgers Boulevard.
