Guest Guest Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 Don't call Kearny. The Kearny FD hasn't saved a single working structure fire in over 6 years. They will also show up with no more than half the manpower that your existing volunteers bring to the job. BTW, since all firefighters in NJ are required to have the exact same training for certification, what gives anyone the impression that a paid department would be any better?
