I realize some have more than others but Kearny taxpayers shouldn't mind that they are running a 12 step program. If you have a problem its ours we'll pay ya ! maybe put you in a supervisors position after all we have Joe D he's real employable the mayor he wants to get a job somewhere on the payroll. A list where will it end and you thought there was no Santa or Santos it don't matter the town died ask the business people in town. Kearny is where Newark was thirty years ago no rateables cost skyrocketing spending out of control. Hiring freeze until some dope or drinking machine needs a job. What about the people that retire from one town department and and get a job on another these blood suckers don't let one crumb fall on the ground. Most of what your saying is true, and I agree we as people should take a stand to make a difference, but this never happens and never will. Look at election results, no one votes. as far as the town workers, I think you got it backwards, the majority don't work ! As far as the town, some good does tend to happen, unfortunately for the past 20 years this town is going downhill. By the way, I'm not one to hide behind a computer, I do make calls, report things, etc. One example I have for you: I reported a problem to DPW 7 months ago, they told me they would make this particular item a "priority" well 7 months later this "priority" still has not been addressed. I followed this up with calls to 2 other depts and still "business as usual". I was born here, raised here and continue to raise a family here, but when the goin gets right, I'm outta here. Rest assure that everything I say and write about Mary Torres and the KBOE, I have actual PROOF. if I did NOT I would be liable for a Law Suit. The "gag" clause has no power over the Public Sector, because keep in mind that settlements are done with Public Funds,so the public has the RIGHT to Know all the Details, especially, since I will be a candidate in April's 2006,Election for the Kearny Board of Education.
