Parking is at a primum. Residents should get it not commerical vehicles. Tired of walking in the dark PS. You can tell them by their commerical plates. But you know what ? If the police start ticketing these vehicles the mayor will only give them back the money like he did with Kearny ave during the snow storm. So why bother. I made my request as soon as I became aware that the link was on her home page. Had I known sooner, I would have made the request earlier. I never visit the home page, as I have the message board bookmarked. I just happened to look after all these advertisments started to appear on the message board. I have made this request because I do not want my website associated with ANY political site. The kids deserve better than that. I don't care that my request became public. I was respecting the webmaster by not being the one to make the details public. As is obvious, I am not having my request for the removal of the link respected. I truly do not believe that anyone visiting KOTW's main page (or otherwise) associates the various links on the left hand margin as supporting the "political" views expressed therein. People simply take the links for what they are -- links to websites related to Kearny and its surrounding communities. I allow everyone to express their views and I am disappointed that you still think that the website expresses only one "political view". (Or am I reading too much into your email). My intention when I took over the daily operation of the website was to improve it and to allow everyone to post their view. Without advertising and simply by word of mouth, the website has grown and I expect will continue to grow. I try to apply the same rules to everyone. I try not to edit posts and even when I think something is marginal I let it through. Other posters come to the rescue and correct or express outrage at the poster putting that person in their place without my intervention. That is the KOTW community at its best. I will most likely grant your request. I wish you would reconsider and withdraw your request. If you wish, I will put a disclaimer at the top of the links indicating that the views expressed in the website and discussion board are independent of the links. (I'll work on the wording).
