Guest Guest Posted May 6, 2005 Report Share Posted May 6, 2005 I found it funny that the Mayor and Tom Powell are taking credit for the repairing of the Transit Train Bridge on Harrison Avenue. The bridge was in serious disrepair and almost struck a pedestrian. It was not the Mayor or Tom Powell who had it fixed, it was Transit. Looks like that will be another big mile stone in his redevelopment. Like the Sound Studio, River rafts, Movie stars, Luxury Hotels, High rise condo's, Goya factory and all the other bull crap we've been fed. Oh and of course the over budgeted school which is built on contaminated land and we already bought property on Harrison Avenue for the same purpose. Doh.... . A bridge that almost struck a pedestrian ?? Did it sneak up behind the pedestrian, or jump out from behind a tree, or what. Was there a weapon involved ??
