Frankly speaking, as long as redevelopment of properties continues without upgrading utilities flooding will be an issue in which the residents along Schuyler Ave and Sanford Avenues along with many other streets is an ongoing scenario! Underground storm drainage system is simply too outdated in parts of town. Considering the millions needed to redesign and upgrade the existing system it will never be forthcoming! I think the Town is making a big mistake. We all agree this area must be cleaned up. But re-opening it? Must we open this with a 60-75 ft. of garbage. No one will screen what is coming in....
