The Kearny High big band will perform followed by a professional 10 piece jazz band. The finale will be students and professionals coming together for In the Mood! Dancing in the aisles highly recommended! Come out and support the students! The concert is free! Also stop by the Kearny Public Library and see the photography show by the Kearny High School photography students. Some of these students won judges awards at the Hudson County Teen Arts Festival competing against all the high schools in Hudson County. The show is up now and will be for about a week or so! I think Digesere brought it here in the 70's! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In the 60's the Kearny HS band director was Marvin Fine and he had a jazz band (called the Kearny HS Dance Band) that was very good.
