Guest Obertobeenladen
Remember it is possible, very possible to impeach the Mayor. He has degenerated the complete administration of this town. This municipality is by far the most Mis-Managed in comparison to all the other surrounding communties. Our property value is plummeting, our schools are poorly staff, yet 60% of our taxes go to the Public Schools. Our emergency health care is non-existant, our govermental employees are under constant harrassment for the purpose of intimidation, we had a 1.33 million dollar tax increase under Santos' administration, we are in the hole for 2.5 million dollars and need another 35 million to correctly make reparations, the Kearny High School wall came down and it's costing the tax payers more millions.........Call into question the Mayor and his people and they will NOT take responsibility for any of these issues. To whom do we point the finger? The Santo-ologist and Mary Torres point it to St. Barnabas, Leo Vartan,Moby Dick, and Flipper The Dolphin NOT to the Mayor. Bring the Mayor before a tribunal with a list of questions and factual data and he will be IMPEACHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The best term to discribe Bert Diaz is FANATICAL. He has declared Holy War, a Jihad against the Kearny Board Of Education and the Town Council because he didn't get his way. He doesn't give a flying leap about the people of this town. It's all about him. The BOE stopped him dead in his tracks from playing his little charade financed by our tax dollars and now he's going to get them back. He is doing his two bit B.S. campaign to jump on every band wagon there is to attack the people that do care about this town. Little does he know in that little delusional pea brain of his, that the mayor had nothing to do with him not being granted tenure in his Principal's position. If he is looking to point the blame, he needs to look in the mirror. If this was another country, he would be a ****** ******. KOTW Note: The above post was edited for content. Guest guest
Why worry about taxes now? Pay your bill and be happy.. Santos is at the Thrown, after all isn't that what we the residents of Kearny wanted?Where were you the last two years when Mangin needed your vote? How about Morejon who if I remember correctly had a finance education and collected taxes for a living? There is no hope for Kearny, perhaps we will have a blackout on election day next year, and people will put down the remote controle and head to the polls. Mangin do you think that you and Morejon will be running again next year? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I voted for Mangin. I agree we need to get the people out to vote. We must show people Santos wrongdoings. Guest History Always Repeats
So, based on your response, it is your contention that Campbell is the person to resolve all the woes of Kearny. If you would, please enlighten us as to his qualifications and your reasons for supporting him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Look in any encyclopedia and look up the name or google it and you will always come up with the same description. Obviously he has done very well, qwns a home in Kearny and the Jersey shore, raised a family, put his daughters thru college and owes no one. I thought this was America where a woking man has the right to seek office. Mr. Campbells credientials are equal to or exceed those of many past and current elected officials. Mrs. Sherry is a homemaker does that make her unqualified? No, she has a brain and heart which is much more important than a degree.

I think you are confused of the mayor living in his mothers house. By the way does the Mayor have anything to lose by corrupting this town? Does he have kids in the school system? The only time you see the mayor around kids is for the observer pictures.
Guest THE SILENT MAJORITY
The sad thing about having a lively debate about the issues that effect the community is that somebody crosses the line and brings family members into the discussion. The good thing that comes out of this is people are starting to take a good hard look at this Mayor and Council and also the Board of Education. The Mayor may feel secure by having no opposition in November, but rest assured mismanagement in Town Hall (aka J.Darco) could come to the surface in the coming years and you could very well see the first Mayor in the history of Kearny to be recalled. THATS A PREDICTION!!! Also Mary Torres will lose her seat on the Board of Education in April 2006!!!!!! Thats a good first start!!!
