The ACLU is a radical left organization that will work pro bono for any radical/anti-American cause such as NAMBLA. They also fought to have the Mt. Soledad Cross taken down (Mt. Soledad Cross is a war memorial on a San Diego hillside).

An atheist sued San Diego to have the cross removed because it was on public land (it has stood there for over 40 years) and was a violation of church and state.

And of course the ACLU agreed and took the case pro bono. Thankfully they lost and the war memorial is now safe

Suing the Boy Scouts and suing to remove the Soledad cross are just the latest examples of this disgusting organization. Tell me who exactly and in what way have they impeded your religious rights. Tell me Patriot which ACLU wrote an amicus brief on behalf of Oliver North when he was in trouble over the Iran Contra Scandal. The good one or the bad one. And while you are at it, why don't you tell us what the the credo of the ACLU is. Because the ACLU I know of fights to preserve the Constitution of the United States and will represent any person or organization who's rights are violated. And in the case of the Boy Scouts, they filed suit against the Military to prevent them from expending tax payer dollars to further an organization who bans persons of non religious faith and gays also. There are many decisions I don't agree with when it comes to them, but in a free society and especially in this era with the wackos running the country we need them more today than ever.
