NOT ONE OF THEM HAD CLASS ENOUGH TO SHOW UP! I happended to attend the party...it was very nice. The turnout, the food, etc. The officer honored was on the job for 25 years and was on FER Bl. and Harrison Ave. for a long time, and he did one hell of a job. Do you think the Mayor and Council could look past all the friction with the cops and swallow a little pride and show up to honor a guy who retired before the whole ticket ticket blitz ordeal occurred? Nah! The mayor had the chief represent him when it came time to present the resolution. He was conveniently out of town the night the party occurred, and guess what, so was the rest of the Council. Well the next time you guys decide to attend a party, I hope you choke to death on the Humble Pie they serve for dessert. Maybe after you spend countless hours of your life studying for the next "promotional" ( sorry - what a joke) test you will do well. Whats another 10 years until you get promoted, big deal. A real cop is an all around officer who could do any job, not just stand on the corner like a statue. He was just a human traffic light. The MAN did nine years on patrol and WAS a good all around street cop.....steady days were the motivation for his traffic assignment and he did a great job.
