Also to note the Spanish Pavillion was the place where all the year end faculty parties were held not after Michael Millans kind words all parties at Ah Piz. The Spanish Pavillion will continue to be the place to get a good meal and have a conversation with your wife, kids, some business person. Doctor Doran and Choffo are missing the great meals and especially the bar. Ah Pizza is nice but you can't have a conversation like you can have at the Pavillion. The walls are too new at Ah Pizza for a conversation like that. Plus it's far less food for the money and the drinks more money. Millan didn't disappear in 2006, the 1st time he ran for Mayor. I expect him not to disappear this time either. He has the rest of his term and next year there are elections again. Millan has politics in his blood. Remember... Fife told us that it was his legacy to be Mayor, like his father was. Fife, who people think is a nice old man, showed his true colors with his Victory Speech. Millan's contacts reach a lot further than the Town of Harrison and his loyal followers, many from out of town, will sure to return to take a second run at the Doran machine which was winded at the end of this marathon elections. They had to pull every trick in the book and intimidate people to the maximum to squeak out a victory. It appears when all the vote counting is done Millan will be over a 1000 votes and two of his Council candidates may be Council elect rather than defeated candidates (rumor has it). The thugs he had work for him were a bunch of bullies. Mayor Fife I thought was nice compared to Millans son in law when he commented. The people with the high salaries intimidate the ones with low salaries to vote for the machine and the Harrison Taxpayers an renters pick up the tab. You can't find a parking spot because you have to cram in everyone into your house to pay the property taxes and water/sewer bill. PVSC Chairman Doran didn't lower out PVSC sewer charge because his brother needs to keep his job.
